"I bought these bottles because our daycare wouldn't take our glass weil bottles for safety reasons. I hated the idea of plastic because it seems like every year a new study comes out about how it leaches this or that. I love these bottles, they are perfect! we bought the wide mouth because I am breastfeeding and we wanted to use a nipple that would transition well. I love that we can use basically any wide mouth nipples with this bottle. We tried to use our weil nipples, but they weren't the best fit - a little to small. Instead we ended up with the MAM nipples that are flat, they fit perfectly. The only drawback to this bottle is if you overheat it, it stays hot for a bit - but that is the nature of choosing a metal bottle. As long as you don't leave it in the bottle warmer for too long, or in hot water for too long, it is perfectly fine to touch. Honestly, I wish I would have bought these to begin with and skipped the glass ones altogether!! Also, the manufacturer sells the storage caps, in case you want to use them to pump into etc."

This bottle is excellent. I have a 1-2yr old adventurous son and he take his bottle everywhere. We used glass bottles for a while which we liked allot, but we recently moved to a place with stone tile floors.. after loosing a couple of glass bottle we opted for these stainless ones. These do not break!
